Melinda earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Freed-Hardeman University and is a graduate of the Paul W. Barrett School of Banking. Her financial career encompasses almost 30 years of experience in retail and commercial banking. Melinda began her career as a teller and rose through the ranks to become a Vice President, Loan Officer and a Branch Manager for a $1.5 billion dollar institution. Her responsibilities included the efficient overall operations of two branch locations, compliance, portfolio management, credit analysis and risk assessments.
She is a volunteer with the Downs Syndrome Association of West Tennessee, Special Needs Athletics and a member of the Marketing Committee for the Jackson Area Center for Independent Living. She is also an associate member of the Tennessee Bankers Association.
Melinda enjoys traveling with family, movies with her daughter and watching professional football in her personal time.
